| Excalibur Drilling received the CAODC "Safety Leadership Award" and was runner up to receive the "Chairman of the Board's Shield" at this year's 28th Annual Land-Based Drilling Rig Safety Awards. Currently, our WCB Claims Costs are one-half of the industry average. We have had no disabling injury accidents in over three years. Thanks to all Rig Managers and crews for their involvement in our Safety Program. |

| This past month saw several weeks of intensive safety training and meetings for Rig Managers and crews. In addition to in-house H2S Training, Firemaster conducted Fall Protection, Rig Rescue and Confined Space Entry and Rescue Training. Congratulations to all participants for their commitment to safety at the rigs. |

| The External COR Audit was conducted by a CAODC approved auditor from September 10-14, 2007. The auditor inspected several rigs, interviewed employees and reviewed safety documents. Excalibur scored 93% on the audit resulting in the renewal of our COR (COR #20070914-5188). |

| Apprenticeship – all Motormen and Derrickhands must be registered in the Apprenticeship program. Drillers with enough hours and months (6250 hours & 54 months) can be grandfathered in as a journeyman Rig Tech III. Please call Lawrence at the office for details |
